The Port of Barranquilla provides a space for Academic Institutions where students have the opportunity to know in more detail the operations and processes carried out inside the terminal.

These visits and the joint action between the institutions and the Port of Barranquilla complement the students’ classroom activities, thus contributing to their professional and work training.

The visit consists of an inside tour in a vehicle through the facilities of the port terminal, where students have the opportunity to know the operational and logistics processes carried out at the Port.

During this guided tour, attendees will receive information on the history of the Port of Barranquilla, port operations of the multipurpose terminal, investment plans, navigability of the Magdalena River and Barranquilla as a port city, among others.
